Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We had a lovely Thanksgiving. The girls and I drove Jason down to Temecula on Wednesday where we met my brother for lunch and then Jason went home with Doug so that all the guys could play Risk Wednesday evening. Thursday morning the girls and I drove back down to my dad's house to meet up with Jason before we all headed over to my aunt's home for a wonderful Thanksgiving spread. The food was wonderful as always and it was fun hanging out with everyone.
Jason and I discovered that Keilah is now waaay too big to sleep in the pack-n-play. She has been sleeping in a big girl bed at home, but when we are at someone else's house we were still putting her in the pack-n-play to keep her contained and out of trouble. The last time she slept in it was a few months ago, and this time it was quite obvious that she was not going to fit. So we let her stay up until we were ready to go home. Now we need to try to find another alternative when she needs to sleep in someone else's home.
This morning I put all my Christmas decorations up and broke out the Christmas china. After the girls' nap we headed over to Jan's house to spend time with her, Brad, Kris, and Elizabeth. Dinner was amazing, as always, and it was fun watching the girls play together.
I know it has been awhile since I've updated. It seems like we have been busy lately with just life in general. This whole next month is going to be a busy month for us, but hopefully I will have fun activities to write about. :)
