So, I temporarily had blocked my blog because I had no idea what kind of person had possession of my purse. My iTouch was in there and my blog was bookmarked in the browser. It freaked me out that someone not only had my personal information, but could also read details about our life. I know it is the internet and that the risk will always exist, but when my purse is missing and it has my address (and calendar with dates my husband is out of town! eek!) in it, I didn't want to give them any other information about us.
When Jason woke me up from my nap on Saturday & told me that someone called about my purse, I was shocked. Then I figured that we would only be getting back my wallet and other items that would be useless to that person. I thought for sure the camera and the iTouch would be gone. Jason drove to a local body shop and picked up the purse, and much to our amazement not a single thing was missing! My $2 and change were still in there (even if someone was looking for cash, they would have been very disappointed! haha).
The man who called told Jason that his wife picked it up. His wife did not speak any english and did not know what to do with the purse, so she brought it home to her husband. The husband spoke a little english and called Jason the next day to have him come get it. I am totally amazed and grateful that an honest person found it!
Merry Christmas!!!

And here I wanted to pulverize whoever took it. Now I want to give them a big hug. Isn't it curious that it was probably an immigrant from south of the border. Hmmm... stereotype altered and I'm convicted.
Praise God!!
