getting caught up

Life has been beyond busy the last month or so. We put an offer in on a home at the end of October. We opened escrow sometime in December. Between paperwork & home inspections on top of all the regular holiday stuff and Keilah's birthday, December has been a blur of activity.

My sister and her husband welcomed the first baby boy on my side of the family, little Jacob, during the first week of December. Keilah turned 4 years old on the nineteenth. Christmas eve at Jason's mom's house was fun, as always. Christmas day we spent mostly at home, just hanging out as a family playing with new toys. New Years Eve we had dinner in HB with Jason's dad, & sister & family and then we were asleep by 10:30 (yeah, we're old). Jason took me to Roy's and to see Avatar for my birthday.

We spent this weekend packing. The house is supposed to close on Tuesday and we should have the keys on Thursday! This is going to be yet another busy week, but I'm sure it will fly by. We should be all moved into the new house by the end of next weekend!
