11 Months Old

Happy 11 months to Katelynn. I am still in shock at how fast this year has gone. Her birthday is next month! Wow!

The newest develpment is her first tooth that popped out yesterday. She is starting to let go for a second while cuising around and stand by herself before falling down. I still think it will be a while before she is walking on her own, which is kinda wierd for me since Keilah started walking at 10 months. With a few exceptions, Katelynn is such a good eater and will eat almost anything I give her. She has already expressed an intense dislike of scrambled eggs. Her way of asking for [ok, demanding] more food is to scream at the top of her lungs that leaves your ears ringing. Lets just say going out to restaurants is a fun experience right now when you feel the eyes of others piercing into you. As long as I keep the food coming fast enough we are good, but look out if mom decides to take a bite! Overall she is quite mellow, but she has quite a temper when provoked! The last picture is how she sucks her fingers. The nursery workers at church think it is so cute and have been bugging me to take a picture of it. She sucks the first two fingers on her left hand and then uses her right hand to gently cover it. Keilah, on the other hand, sucks her right thumb and uses her left hand to twiddle with her hair. It is funny how each kid comes out with their own quirks.
