9 months old

Happy 9 months to Katelynn!

Katie continues to be such a happy, joyous baby. She adores her sister and the two of them love to laugh together. Katie is now moving around on her own quite well. Keilah has started not wanting to share some of her toys, so she hids them in the kitchen since she knows Katie doesn't like going on the tile. Keilah is also learning that she needs to start putting her shoes away and pick up her small toys, as Katie seems drawn to those things.

Katie still does not have any teeth. Keilah was also a late teether, so I am hoping Katie will get her first tooth at some point during this next month or so. We have recently tried introducing table food. It is hard remembering what kind of foods to start with. So far we have tried pasta, turkey burger, bananas, and popcorn (big no-no, I know). So far the only thing she has really eaten and wanted more of was the popcorn. She just really isn't a big fan of chunky food and gags on pretty much everything, regardless of how small it is. Just takes getting used to, I guess.

She continues to be an awsome sleeper. I consider myself so blessed that my kids sleep great (besides the fact that Keilah is an early riser, but that is another story). She sleeps about 11 to 12 hours through the night and then sleeps another 4 hours or so during her naps (2, sometimes 3 naps a day).

She has her 9 month doctor appointment tomorrow so we can check and make sure she is growing and developing on track.
