8 months old

Katelynn is 8 months old! I can hardly believe how fast she is growing! I took this picture on March 2nd, but I've been such a slacker I haven't had a chance to post it until now.

She is such a joyful and sweet baby. My favorite thing is when she showers me with her big open mouth kisses everyday. She has such a sweet spirit. She is soooo close to crawling! She is rocking back and forth on all fours and will even lunge forward. Tonight she actually moved her knee twice. Any day now! She starting signing "milk" a few weeks ago. She does not do it as often now as she did a couple weeks ago now that she is enjoying eating her baby food more. She is a pretty good eater. She loves her sweet potatoes (don't all kids?) and squash. She has just discovered that laying still for diaper changes is overrated and is always trying to squirm away--which is a lot of fun for me when she has a poopy diaper. I've had to resort to pinning her shoulders down with my feet while changing her diaper on a couple of occasions. The girls took their first bath together last month and they both loved it! Katelynn loves to splash and kick in the water now that she is not bathing in the kitchen sink anymore. She needs to hurry up and stop growing! I miss my little baby already!
