Happy Birthday Jason!!
When I was pregnant with Keilah, Jason and I took an Alaskan cruise out of San Francisco. Unfortunately we were not in SF long enough to see any of the sights. Ever since then Jason has talked about going to San Francisco for a vacation so he could show me all the cool things there are to see and do there. So for his birthday I suprised him by booking a trip to San Francisco to celebrate the big 3-0! Gramma and Grandpa were kind enough (and brave enough!!) to watch both girls all weekend so we could get away for a few days by ourselves. (THANK YOU!!!) I love my kids to death, but it was so nice to get away and be Jason and Kelly and not daddy and mommy for a few days.
We crammed as much stuff into those few short days as we possibly could! We toured Alcatraz (Jason's favorite!!), strolled through Ghiradelli Square, went to a farmers market at the Ferry Building, cruised around Chinatown & had some awsome Chinese food, went to a Fortune Cookie Factory, rode a cable car, visited the Cable Car Museum, rode bikes from Fisherman's Wharf across the Golden Gate bridge (and back--phew my legs were tired!), ate some awsome clam chowder and sourdough bread on the wharf, and went to a comedy club. Here are some pictures of our trip:
