2 month check up

Katelynn had her 2 month well-baby check up today.

Our chunky monkey weighs 12lbs 2ozs and is 24 inches long. She went from 75% up to 90% on the growth charts.

I brought the pictures of Katelynn's spit up to the doctor to show her. Katelynn does have reflux, but because the massive spit-ups are not a daily occurance and because Katelynn is growing and gaining weight the doctor is not going to put her on any medication at this time. If it gets worse then we can put her on medication, but she will eventually grow out of it.

The doctor also told me to use hydrocortizone cream in her hair, eyebrows, and ears to get rid of the crusty cradle cap. Her cradle cap is not bad at all, but it is affecting the skin on her face and making her break out a little bit. I'd never heard of that remedy before, so we are going to give it a whirl tonight before bathtime.
