This is the 3rd time Katelynn has spit up a TON. The first time was Sunday (8/17) while we were in the car. I did not see it happen, but when we got to where we were going everything--literally everything--was soaked. Her clothes, her burp cloth and blanket (which were in her lap), her carseat, and there was even a puddle in her carseat base from it leaking though. It happened again last night (8/22) while I was burping her and it soaked her, me, and the chair. Then again tonight (8/23) after I put her to bed. I am debating if I should email her pediatrician tonight or wait until Monday. Jason thinks I am overreacting, but I think this is excessive.
I took these pictures tonight. This is from her second "hurl" (and yes, it all came out in one massive flood). The first hurl soaked the lap pad that was under her head and her swaddling blanket which I had already removed from the crib. The sheet is soaked underneath her and the entire backside of her onesie is also drenched.
I've decided not to call the ped just yet. It does not seem to be bothering her and only happens occasionally. If it becomes a more frequent occurance or if she starts having other symptoms then I will call. We have her 2 month check up next week so I will definitely be printing out the pictures and taking them with me to talk to her about it.

caleb had a few of the same sized spit ups when he was katie's age (some of them were projectile vomits that got over EVERYTHING). they scared me so bad but everything was okay. his dr said it was either that he ate too much or it could be his reflux acting up. he takes reglan on a regular basis and hasn't had anything like that for a long time. i'm sure everything is ok with katie but i understand your concern. hope all goes well at her next pedi appt.
