Potty Learning Day 1

I decided to bite the bullet and start trying to potty train Keilah. We had our first day in big girl panties today. At first she was really excited, but as the day wore on she became annoyed at my frequent requests to go sit on the potty. We had 4 successful trips to the potty (for which she earned a high five, a phone call to daddy, and a single chocolate chip, lol) and only 2 accidents. She did spend naptime in a diaper. Naps and bedtime will be the last thing we tackle. Overall I think it was a success for her first day in panties.

I've read good things about a potty training DVD called Potty Power. Maybe tomorrow we will see if we can find a copy for Keilah to watch. Jason bought a bag of M&M's tonight so tomorrow she can start earning M&M's instead of chocolate chips, lol.
