This morning Keiah and I had an adorable conversation about her heart. Enjoy!
Keilah wanted to be my helper while I was cooking oatmeal for breakfast. While we were waiting for the water to boil, she grabbed the rubber spatula to hold it for me.
Keilah: I hold dis for you.
Me: Ok. You hold that for me.
K: I wuv it. (hugging the spatula to her chest)
K: Gook, its by my heart. Right dere. (pointing to her heart)
M: That is right. That is where your heart is. Do you know what your heart does? (thinking I am going to explain about heart pumping blood to her body, etc)
K: Jesus in dere. Jesus in my heart.
M: Does Jesus live in your heart?
K: Yes. Jesus wuvs me.
M: Does Jesus make your heart happy?
K: Jesus wuvs you too.
M: Yes, Jesus loves me too.
