Logan's Candies

This evening Keilah and I went on a MOPS field trip to Logan's Candies in downtown Ontario. It is a cute little candy shop that specializes in handmade candy canes and ribbon candy. They have been in business for about 75 years and they are the only place in California that still makes their candy the old fashioned way, pulling it by hand. They did a complete demonstration for the kids on how a candy cane is made. They also explained the origin and significance of the candy cane. They gave out samples of the candy cane while it was still warm, which was really good!! The kids all got a little bag with a candy cane and some other goodies. It was a fun little trip, something we definitely will do again.
