Katie's non-dedication

Katie was supposed to be dedicated at church back on November 16th. My family all came up from San Diego and spent the night Saturday night and we had a celebration after church with lots of good food and games.

I received a phone call after we were already on our way to the church that her dedication was going to be cancelled that day because of the fires that were burning in Chino Hills. Our pastor had been evacuated from his home in the early morning hours and it was unknown if he was going to be there for service. The church decided to reschedule her dedication for a later time in an effort to be sensitive to the needs of the body because of the fires and evacuations. We were bummed, but understood the reasons behind it.

After church we went back to Debbi's to have our celebration anyways. Below are a couple pictures from her non-dedication day, lol.

We rescheduled her dedication for this Sunday, December 6th. Hopefully everything goes as planned this time. And I am still praying that she does not spit up on Pastor Jack! :)
