1 month old!

Katelynn turned 1 month old today!

Time is such a strange thing. On one hand, I can't believe it has been a month already. On the other hand, I can't remember what life was like before Katelynn arrived, it feels like she has been a part of our lives forever.

Katelynn is such an awsome baby! I had forgotten how much they sleep in the beginning. This past week she has started to be awake a bit more which is fun.

I absolutely love her smile. She has two huge precious dimples that melt your heart and she has very expressive eyes just like her big sister. Her hair is starting to lighten very quickly. It looks like she has brown highlights throughout her hair if you look closely at it. My guess is she will eventually be blond like Keilah.

She has pretty much settled into her own feeding schedule. The last 3-4 nights she has her last feeding of the day around 6:00pm-6:30pm and then won't wake up again until 3:00am-4:00am. That is a 9+ hour stretch between feedings! I wish she would push her last feeding back until about 9:00pm that way I could take advantage of more sleep, but I will take whatever I can get! :)

Keilah is still doing well with Katie. Keilah loves to give her hugs and kisses and tries to "help" a lot. Keilah has not expressed her jealousy towards Katie...it is more aimed at Jason and I through misbehavior (which is an entirely different topic).

We will be taking Katie's picture with her green elephant (which was a gift from Keilah, btw) every month to witness her growth.
