Today I decided to be brave and try to go grocery shopping by myself with the girls. Overall, the outing went fairly well. Keilah rode in the cart and I put Katelynn in the sling. I was stopped a couple of times by people asking how old Katie was or to comment on how beautiful my girl are. :)
I thought the outing was a complete success and I was really proud of myself for getting out there....until Katie started screaming to be nursed half way home. By the time we got home the poor girl was trembling from head to toe because she was so upset. Just as I sat down to nurse Katie, Keilah started to say that she too was hungry (for anyone who does not know Keilah....she says this ALL the time. She is a huge grazer and is rarely 'hungry'). I told her I would get her a snack in a few minutes when Katie was done nursing. Keilah was not happy with that, started to cry and went to her bedroom. When I went to check on her just a few minutes later I found a tear-stained Keilah passed out in her bed. :(
So far, the only challenging thing about being a mom-of-2 is being able to meet everyone's needs at the same time. Everyone else makes it look so easy, lol.
Merry Christmas!!!

Give yourself a little credit- you're doing an awesome job meeting everyone's needs. You'll be makin' it look easy too...all in due time.
Very cool Mom, enjoying life w/her kids and figuring it out, all at the same time. I'm in awe of your capabilities as a mom, Kelly.
