earthquake

The girls did not have a chance to experience what would have been their first earthquake today.

We were driving back from running errands in Chino Hills (which was the quake's epicenter, btw) and didn't feel a thing.

When we got home I put both girls to bed for their naps (they had both fallen asleep in the car) and then immediately went to check my email. I found out about the earthquake on the internet. It was then that I looked around and noticed there was a lot of stuff that had been knocked over or off of shelves/bookcases, etc.

In a way I am glad I didn't feel it. I've been thinking all day about what would happen in the event that we do have another earthquake. Which girl do I grab first in order to keep them both safe? That has been itching the back of my mind all day. That, and the fact that I really need to get an earthquake kit put together!
